Chambersburg, PA
I chose Chambersburg because it holds a special place in my history. While not a fascinating place for most, it is the place I signed my contract to join the USAF. It is the town I had my first date in and every date after with my high school love.
It wasn't the town I lived in, but it was definitely where I had a few milestones.
But I had never, ever stopped and walked downtown. As a matter of fact, I don't think I made it farther than the recruiters office, which was right at the edge of town.
Downtown was a way to get where I needed to go, but never the place I went.
So, I grabbed my sidekick and daughter Harmoni, and we spent the afternoon walking, sitting in the park and an eating an incredible lunch at BISTRO 71 in the town I never forgot.
Here are the shots I got.
