A 10 Minute Walk Around Carlisle
There isn't much to say about this trip other than I saw an opportunity and I took it.
Returning from a job, a sign caught my eye, almost as if it was beckoning to me through the window with affection. I quickly retrieved my camera from my bag and captured the moment. Right away, I knew I had snagged a favorite. It was the slogan for Denim Coffee Co., which lent itself beautifully to a black and white composition.
(It hung in my Harrisburg Art Association solo show, and was purchased by a member of the Widener Law School Team.)
Seeing this sign, got the juices flowing, and instead of getting into my car and driving away, I called my husband and told him I would be late for dinner. I gave myself 20 minutes, knowing that was about all I had til it got too dark, and to walk as fast as I could around town, and capture what I could see in that time frame.
It wasn't much.
